The Philatelic Bureau of Maltapost plc is issuing a Commemorative Cover on the occasion of the Diamond Wedding Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness Prince Philip.

The Commemorative Cover, which is limited to 1500 covers, will feature a photograph of the Royal Couple on their wedding day in 1947. The personalised stamp on the Cover will show a photograph of Her Majesty and Prince Philip, taken earlier this year at Broadlands, in Romsey, southern England. Broadlands was the residence of the Earl and Countess Mountbatten of Burma.

This Commemorative Cover, which retails at Lm0.75 (EUR1.75), will be available from the postal retail outlets at the Maltapost Head Office, 305 Triq Hal Qormi, Marsa and Dar Annona, Misrah Kastilja, Valletta, as from Tuesday, 20th November, from the Maltapost Philatelic Bureau (tel. 2596-1747, e-mail [email protected]; postal address: 305, Triq Hal Qormi, Marsa, MTP1001), and from all other Maltapost retail outlets as from Wednesday, 21st November.
