The Bay Street Shopping Complex birthday is with us again. Bay Street will this weekend celebrate its b Day on Sunday, the 25th November, with a day packed with entertainment for all.

Bay Street’s Marketing & Events Manager, Martin Sapiano said that, “As usual b Day for the Complex is always celebrated in style, and this year is no exception.” He said that many people visit the Complex on this occasion and that they make sure they provide a good time for all - this includes a variation of fun-filled activities including sports, music, magic and dance shows.

Bay Street’s extensive programme of activities this year opens with mass at 11 am celebrated by Fr Colin Apap. Following mass, the entertainment starts at lunchtime with The Cute and the Alison Ellul School Singers. The show continues throughout the afternoon with Corinne Turner, Malcolm Pisani, the She 2’s, the Waterfall Dancers, Jewls Verse and even the Police Dog unit who will be putting on their much admired police dog show. Pippa Mattei will also be demonstrating her culinary skills.

Throughout the afternoon a number of different side-shows will be taking place. These include a number of art and photographic exhibitions, as well as others featuring sports cars, folklore models and also an astrological exhibition. Throughout the Complex children will be able to have their face painted, and jugglers and stilt-walkers will be on site.

At 5pm Bay Street will be cutting its birthday cake at the Rotunda, and their enormous Christmas tree will be lit for the first time.

Later in the evening the show continues with J Anvil and the Pro Touch Dancers and some BMX stunt riding, while a performance by the Dance College School will bring the show to an end.
