During the month of June around 300 Electrolux delegates participated in a conference held at The Westin Dragonara Resort. Electrolux is a global leader in domestic and professional appliances , selling more than 40 million products to customers in 150 countries every year.

During the events at The Westin Dragonara Resort, Electrolux had a number of their appliances on display.

At the end of the conference before their return to Germany, Electrolux expressed their interest in selling appliances to the Maltese market, with the funds going to charity. The Welfare committee of The Westin Dragonara Resort, with the assistance of the Heart of House concierge organized an auction for the Westin associates, and the money was donated to the Clarissi and Dar San Guzepp.

Both beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Westin Management as these funds will help them to continue in their charitable work.
