During the annual awards ceremony held on Wednesday, 28 November at The Dorchester Hotel in London, Bank of Valletta was named as the Bank of the Year in Malta for 2007 by THE BANKER, the monthly banking publication of the Financial Times Group. This is the third consecutive year and the fifth time in the last seven years that Bank of Valletta has won this prestigious award.

The ‘Bracken Award’ was presented to the bank’s CEO, Tonio Depasquale by Brian Caplen, Editor of The Banker. Mr Depqasquale, together with BOV’s Chief Finance Officer, Mario Mallia, were in London for the awards night
