When one thinks of teamwork, few images are more vivid than a skipper on a yacht out on the high seas calling to his crew "... All hands on deck!" One immediately conjures up mental scenes of several crew members quickly making their way to their position and busily doing what they should be doing. All working in the knowledge that everyone's task complements' the team effort and that it is crucial for the overall result.

Through the GasanMamo Insurance sponsorship of the well known racing yacht Commanche Raider, which features in most local races and for several years has participated in the local calendars' most prized event the Rolex Middle Seas Race, the company's staff were given the opportunity to crew and enjoy a wonderful sailing experience. All staff were given the opportunity to take part and the participation was excellent.

"We were delighted and overwhelmed by the number of staff that participated in this activity that took place between July and September. The feedback was fantastic and far reaching since participants considered it to be recreational, educational and a bonding experience," said Julian Mamo, Director of GasanMamo Insurance
