This Christmas, Vodafone Malta Limited is offering all its customers an eco-incentive with the re-launch of its handset recycling campaign until 31 December. Upon returning an old mobile handset for recycling, customers may purchase a Vodafone 225 mobile handset at a discounted price of Lm16 / e37.26. Vodafone is also giving away free merchandise made out of recycled material with every mobile phone handed in.

“Through this scheme Vodafone is encouraging the general public to protect the environment this Christmas and New Year while benefiting from great offers”, said Deborah Grech, Corporate Affairs Manager at Vodafone Malta.

Apart from the environmental benefits of handset recycling, all the revenue generated from Vodafone’s local recycling programme will be donated to YMCA Homeless.

During the Christmas period, Vodafone will be offering a wide variety of phones at incredible prices ensuring that customers’ varying needs are met.

Business devices compatible with Vodafone Business Email, consisting of camera and 3G functionality are offered at Lm99 / e230.61 for the Samsung i320, Lm199 / e463.55 for the Samsung i640, which is also HSDPA enabled, and Lm189 / e440.25 for the Nokia E61i.
