Donatelle Callus has been selected as the well-deserved candidate to be sponsored by Cynergi in her triathlon training. Since October last year she has been specialising in three disciplines – swimming, cycling and running. With all forthcoming events, Donatelle will be representing Cynergi in her efforts to win gold.
Working tirelessly to reach her goals, she spent much of her time at a few familiar places. Her swimming sessions were spent outside at the National Pool, while cycling outdoors and running with the running club at Cynergi.
Since June 2006, Donatelle has been training at Cynergi in preparation for her career goal. She believes that all elements of a gym add to making the experience worth the many hours spent there. “The gym area is very well equipped and there are always cardio machines available even in the peak hours. The sauna and steam room are an added bonus after a hard workout. The personnel are all very helpful and pleasant people”. When asked about her experience regarding the staff involvement at Cynergi, she continued to say “Mr Charlie Demanuele is the one who helps me and guides me all through my training. He is a great motivator and believes in my potential. He is also has experience in this field since he has participated in triathlon events both locally and abroad.”
This has been Donatelle’s first year competing making her second place winning in her first National Championship race quite an achievement. Now she forms part of the National Team of Triathlon, competing in local events and also doing some long distance racing abroad and aspires at achieving a good time in a long distance event abroad and placing well in her age category. Her aim is for mid-2008.
When asked about her recommending Cynergi, Donatelle said, “Yes of course I would and in fact I do every time someone asks me about my training. The vast array of equipment and the fact that the gym is very large are strong positive points. The staff are always available to help and give the client a programme to achieve their goal be it weight loss or fitness level.”
