This year the Society of Christian Doctrine, better known as MUSEUM, has been celebrating two very auspicious events in its history: the canonisation of its founder, St George Preca (affectionately still called Dun Gorg), and the 100th anniversary of its foundation.
These celebrations will come to a close with an activity of the Fergha Kooperaturi, MUSEUM, which will also celebrate the 47th anniversary since it was given Ecclesiastical approval to become an integral part of the Society by Archbishop Michael Gonzi on 17 October 1960, following the express wish of Dun Gorg.
A concelebrated Mass of Thanksgiving for members of the Society’s Fergha Kooperaturi, their families and guests led by Archbishop Paul Cremona together with a number of other priests and religious will be held tomorrow in the Auditorium of the society’s general premises, Blata l-Bajda, at 6.30pm.
