By popular demand, the successful Paranga Restaurant in St George’s Bay will now be open throughout the year. Mr Carlo Schembri together with his team of designers from Design Source has restructured Paranga so that clients can eat and drink in comfort even on the coldest days of the year.
An all weather enclosure, soft furnishings, special heating and lighting will create a warm and cosy winter ambiance by the water’s edge. Paranga has been enhanced to give that welcoming winter feel that the management of InterContinental Malta know is so important to its clientele.
“Paranga will reopen for the Christmas and New Year festivities and staff parties for guests to celebrate and dine in style at this spectacular venue as from Monday, 17 December,” said Marco J. Frik, General Manager of InterContinental Malta.
“It will be cosy in all kinds of wet or windy weather. There will be new furnishings to give that inviting feeling that our guests will love as much as they did in summer, after all there is nothing quite like being warm and comfortable inside while watching the winter waves just beneath” Mr Frik added.
In January, once the Christmas and New Year festivities are over, a Sicilian guest chef will be coming over to join the team at Paranga in creating and preparing a new winter menu. Specially designed antipasti and fish displays will play a prominent part of the choice of authentic Sicilian flavours and dishes available on the menu. Paranga will be open for dinner from Monday to Saturday and for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
Bookings are still being accepted for this popular venue on selected dates for staff parties and will also be open throughout the festive season for individual bookings.
