A 49-year-old man was placed under house arrest yesterday after he pleaded not guilty to attempting to murder a man and a woman in Marsa on Thursday between 6pm and 8pm.
Martin Dalli, from Floriana, was also charged with illegal possession of a pistol and a sharp and pointed object.
Magistrate Antonio Micallef Trigona placed the man under house arrest on a personal guarantee of Lm5,000.
Police Inspectors Mario Tonna and Nezren Grixti led the prosecution.
