Bacchus Restaurant in Mdina is gearing up for a busy festive season this Christmas as it is announcing that it will be hosting patrons for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

The major event will be the hosting a gala dinner on New Year’s Eve during which Bacchus has planned an entertainment repertoire, which this year will include a performance by Chiara and by theatre company Curtain Raiser who under the direction of Patrick Vella will be presenting excerpts from the production Grease. All this as a run-up to midnight and following the countdown.

Throughout the past months, Mario Vella Gatt, managing director of Bacchus Restaurant has been busy preparing a special menu for these festivities. “This year’s menu prepared especially for the upcoming festivities will include chilled lobster tails with a dab of caviar cream, duck foie gras glazed with port wine jus with a sweet toasted garlic bruschetta, boneless dover sole in potato crust with lemon sauce, melon and blackberry sorbet, tournedos of beef with beaujolais & balsamic jus and decadent chocolate dessert.”

“Through these forthcoming Christmas festivities we will be celebrating another successful year for Bacchus as we will be confirming the restaurant’s status as one of the most popular dining venues in Malta. Indeed, the new menu we are preparing as well as the entertainment program we have in place for new year’s eve, will be an opportunity for us to confirm that our efforts are continuously directed towards making each and every visit to Bacchus, a unique but passionate dining experience,” concluded Mr Vella Gatt.

Patrons choosing to celebrate this year’s New Year’s Eve at the 17th century restaurant set within Mdina’s enchanting bastions, will be treated to a lavish six-course dinner at a fantastic and unbeatable price of Lm35/e81.53 per person.
