Betfair Games, the gaming arm of the world's leading betting exchange, has been expanding its Maltese operation over the last two years and is pleased to announce the recruitment of its 100th employee.

customer support.

“This is a milestone for the Malta office but it is still early days,” said Betfair Games managing director Steve Ives. “What we do here is core to our global operations and we will continue to invest in Malta.

“Not only are we offering jobs, but with events such as The Betfair Cup we are looking to get involved with the community.”

Betfair recently announced its sponsorship of one of the biggest events in the Maltese sporting calendar. The Betfair Cup 2008 is a match between Juventus and Valletta, to be played at Ta’ Qali on 9 January.
