which are to contribute to a project entitled "Reaching for the Stars, All Children Have a Right to Play". The project includes the development of a children's play area at Dar Sagra Familja in Zabbar.
The TDM 2000 Malta team would particularly like to thank their sponsors Ryan's Irish Pub for hosting the event; Cisk Export for their kind donations which included prizes such as mp3 players, i-pods and a Playstation 2 and ICON Studios for the professional development of the TDM website.
The night however could not be complete without the great support of the upcoming award-nominee & winning bands that played their hearts out on all three of the nights. Bands included Sigo and the Phlaperoos, Shilloo's Tree, Shore featuring Simon Vella from 6th Symphony, Salt, Beetroot, Eve Ransom, Stoned Joker, Thomas Hedley, Cable 35 and finally The Monitors who were kindly able to play at very short notice. All bands rocked away for three consecutive nights making the marathon an event to remember.
Project Co-Ordinator, Alison Camilleri, said: 'I am proud of the whole team. This event has proven to be a great success thanks to the amount of dedication and great teamwork that has been put in by all the members. I am also extremely grateful to all those who believed in the cause & gave us a helping hand - friends; bands & sponsors alike."
"Weeknights with Ryan" is one among many fundraising events in a bid to raise Lm65,000 for the development of a children's play area.
