Premier Capital Limited has acquired the McDonald’s restaurant operations in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. This was announced by McDonalds Corporation in a statement to the press.
Commenting on the deal, Hili Group chairman Marin Hili stated that “this would further enhance the Groups association with McDonalds and widen the organizations presence in the Baltic States. The market in the Baltics is growing at a fast pace and we welcome the opportunity to spearhead this development”
Through its subsidiary company First Foods Franchises, Premier Capital Limited also operates the McDonalds Development License for Malta and Gozo The restructured operation will now be responsible for 27 restaurants in four countries, employing 2,500 people.
The Hili Group has been operating in Baltic sates – in the shipping and ports sector for the past 10 years.
