The Malta Institute of Professional Photography recently held its annual convention at the SAS Radisson in St Julian’s.

Avantech Ltd, the local distributor for Canon Printing Solutions, used this opportunity to launch the Canon PIXMA Pro9000 series Professional Photo Printers by means of a photographic competition under the auspices of the MIPP, with a Canon Professional Photo Printer PIXMA Pro9500 offered as the first prize.

The prints were judged by an international jury that chose the entry submitted by Joe Smith entitled “Weather Vane”. Avantech sales manager Adrian Cachia presented the Canon PIXMA Pro9500 to Mr Smith during the presentation dinner.
