The Shops Association of Marsascala together with the National Euro Changeover Committee will be organising activities on New Year’s Eve as a celebration of the changeover to the euro.

The association is seeing the event as important for the generation of business and a festive atmosphere for the end of the year.

The programme in Marsascala will be for both adults and children. There will be a stage in Marina Street where several local bands such as Frenzy Mono and Drive will be performing. The local band of Marsascala will also be performing between 8 and 9 pm, and children’s activities will include a Merry-go-round train around Marina Street, and a bouncing castle.

The activities and festivities commence at 8pm.
