The radio Lehen il-Karmelitani, and the Carmelite society youth section have raised Lm2,005 in aid of the children cared for at St Theresa Home by the sisters of the Sacred Heart, through various activities.

The radio, transmitting on 101.4 FM, ran its programmes for three days from Republic Square and the youth section held various activities, such as a 24-hour marathon.

The money was presented to Sr Isabella Cilia, mother superior, by the radio station’s president, Joseph Darmanin.
