Corinthia Hotels’ dedicated meetings, incentives, conference and events (MICE) programme, Events@Corinthia, featured among the three finalists in the ‘Best Customer Satisfaction Programme in Luxury Hotels’ category of the Annual Hospitality Awards 2007, organised by the MKG Group in Paris.
An audience of nearly 700 leaders and partners of the international hotel industry saw the presentation of the Hospitality Awards 2007 on November 22 at the Hilton Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
The annual ceremony of the Hospitality Awards, created by MKG Group, the European leader in consulting for the hotel and tourism industry directed by Georges Panayotis, has today become the reference for rewarding innovation and excellence in the industry. The advisory board for the awards, a panel of international leaders in the industry which determines the categories and criteria for the selection of candidates, was this year presided by Luis Del Olmo, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Sol Melia Hotels.

The core of the programme is the Corinthia event assistant, a personal contact 24 hours a day dedicated to each conference or event. This is the same event assistant that would become the personal ‘travelling event assistant’ for every organiser of groups with 300 or more room nights.
The planner can have the same dedicated Events@Corinthia staff person who assisted them for their meeting in the first Corinthia Hotel, travel to a second (or more) Corinthia location prior to their next meeting, where they brief the new Corinthia team on the special needs and requirements of that group.
