Can Your people deliver results?

Malta Independent Sunday, 20 January 2008, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

Nigel Turner of MaST International, an affiliate of the MaST International Group Ltd, UK, will be giving a free breakfast presentation on 23 January on “Leadership Development” and on 24 January on “Improving Customer Service” – both from a management and front line point of view.

Nigel Turner speaks about the demands of a competitive and demanding world. “It doesn’t matter what products or services your organisation provides, you need effective service delivery, efficiency and profitability. The people you employ can make or break your organisation. If they do not have the right skills, how is your organisation going to deliver on its promises? ”

He explains how “soft” skills are mission-critical. Personal and interpersonal competencies such as developing strategy, leading, planning, selling, communication, team-working, dealing with customers, giving performance feedback, disciplining staff – it is a long list. These skills do not come naturally to many people and can be difficult to learn.

The presentations will be held at the Villa Corinthia, Antoinette Room, Corinthia Palace Hotel, Attard.

Management and other executive staff interested in bettering their product are invited to attend. Everyone is welcome to attend, but registration has to be made beforehand as the number of places is limited. Registration may be made by e-mail

to [email protected], by accessing www.mastmalta.com or by calling 7922 2994. During his stay in Malta, Mr Turner is also offering free one-hour in-house presentations on either of these topics, or other related topics.
