Dr Peter Fenech sued One News editor Miriam Dalli, Kullhadd editor Felix Agius and journalists Anthony David Gatt and Aleander Balzan, after he felt defamed by a news item aired on Sunday and an article carried on the same day.
The two items alleged that Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi wrote off e256,217 that Dr Fenech allegedly owed.
