A 34-year-old man pleaded guilty to heroin possession and participating in illegal gaming.
The court, presided over by magistrate Lawrence Quintano, heard Martin Debono, from Hamrun, plead guilty to illegal gaming at Liberty Bar, Hamrun and also to relapsing.
Police Inspector Victor Aquilina prosecuted while Dr José Herrera and Dr Veronique Dalli appeared for the accused.
