The annual BUPA International Distributor Conference was held recently in Muscat, Oman at the beautiful Shangri-La’s Barr Al Jissah Resort Hotel al Husn. BUPA International’s worldwide reach was reflected by the attendance of over 80 international delegates from all parts of the world, which included among many others the UK, Guernsey, Greece, Lebanon, Switzerland, Kenya, Somalia, Denmark, Spain, Dubai and Australia.

Malta, through GlobalCapital Health Insurance Ltd, representatives of BUPA in Malta, was attended by Adriana Zarb Adami – Branch Manager and Registered Agent, as well as BUPA Malta Claims Manager Noel Saliba.

The conference represented an excellent opportunity to participate and review BUPA International’s business strategy, and obtain the latest updates on how BUPA International is looking at growing its business, further improving the services provided by BUPA International.

BUPA is recognised as the “gold” standard in health insurance with more than eight million members worldwide in 190 countries. Further improvements to the services currently being offered to Maltese BUPA members are expected as a result of these discussions. The conference also elaborated on the new brand identity that BUPA is launching in 2008.
