HSBC Malta has appointed Peter Calleya Head of Strategic Planning to complement the organisation’s different initiatives and activities within its overall strategy.

Working directly with the CEO, Mr Calleya will be involved in corporate issues and liase closely with the bank’s different areas to provide strategic thinking and scenario planning within the context of market developments.

HSBC Bank Malta’s growth in business has created the need for the post of a planner to review strategy, corporate structure and performance, as well as oversee some of the major projects the bank is continuously working on.

A banker for over 22 years, Mr Calleya served on various sector-wide committees and has been a published analyst in the financial press for a number of years.
