Bank of Valletta is organising another edition of its popular Investor Education Pro-gramme. Members of the public are invited to attend these seminars, which will address topical issues ranging from the financial services world such as bonds and shares, long-term savings, life assurance and portfolio management and trusts, to collective investment schemes and structured products.
Being held between 17 March and 14 April at the Razzett tal-Hbiberija in Marsascala, these five, two-hour sessions will start at 6pm. No prior knowledge of investment is required and the seminars will be delivered in Maltese.
The speakers for every session are BOV employees who not only have the necessary academic qualifications, but are experts in their respective areas. Through these sessions the bank is making use of its knowledge to familiarise the community with the financial services world.
The final session, which will be addressed by Geoffrey Bezzina on behalf of the Malta Financial Services Authority, will take a more practical approach, as participants will be invited to apply what they have learnt to a practical situation.
Participation is free and a certificate of attendance will be awarded to participants who attend all five sessions. Those wishing to attend are requested to reserve seating by phoning 2275 3556, or by email to [email protected] Seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
