Two teenage underage youths from Zabbar pleaded not guilty to stealing various items from cars over two months.
The two youths aged 17 and 15, whose names cannot be published because they are still minors, pleaded not guilty to the charges of stealing an Mp3 CD player, subwoofer, amplifier and a pair of speakers from a Skoda Felicia in Zabbar on 17 January.
They also pleaded not guilty to stealing a car battery from an Isuzu van, fuel from a Ford Escort and a Ford Anglia and part of a spoiler kit from a Toyota Tercell in the Bulebel industrial estate in January.
The two youths were also charged with stealing a stereo from a car in December and causing more than e466 damage to all four cars in total.
Senior Police Inspector Anthony Cassar prosecuted while Dr Kris Busietta and Dr Nicole Vella appeared for the youths.
