FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company, recently held a one week leadership programme for 23 directors and chief executives from 16 countries at the worldwide headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. The course was run by the FedEx Global Learning Institute, which organises leadership programmes for FedEx directors and vice presidents.

Pierre Attard, managing director of Airsped Express Ltd, the FedEx Global Service participant in Malta, was invited to attend this leadership programme. Over the last few years, Mr Attard has attended several management programmes run by FedEx in operations, human resources as well as best practice sessions in marketing, customer experience and performance improvement.
