New Operations manager for The Palace

Kenneth Camilleri is the new operations manager for The Palace, Hotel in Sliema.

Formerly the financial controller for The Victoria and The Palace, Mr Camilleri, is a graduate in Accountancy from the University of Malta and has a diploma in hotel operations and management from Cambridge College. His career within the AX Group started in 1994 at the Suncrest Hotel where he was engaged in the food and beverage department.

Commenting about this new appointment Ms Claire Xuereb, The Palace general manager said that “His loyalty towards the Group and experience has given him a deep insight into hotel operations. Furthermore his financial knowledge enables him to be close to the heart beat of the operational team”.

Ms Xuereb also said that as the hotel embarks on its progressive business strategy, the Operations role will become critical in supporting the business dimension and pushing it forward, thus entrusting the right procedures and development within The Palace.
