P. Cutajar & Co. has received an award for the Solaris Best Turnover of the Year 2007.

Solaris organised a three-day event in Courchevel, France, earlier this year during which the award was given. Malta is one of six countries in which Solaris, part of the Grand Vision Group, awarded its franchise to sell sunglasses. It runs its own stores in other countries.

P. Cutajar & Co. Ltd’s Retail Operations Director, Sarah Portelli, said she was delighted that the Malta franchise had received this accolade.

“Solaris was launched in Malta with a single outlet in Republic Street, Valletta in 2006 and last year we opened our second outlet in Tower Road, Sliema.

“The sales performance of the Solaris franchise is primarily thanks to the unique combination of 40 brands, some by leading designers, all under one roof and our team of dedicated sales consultants who are committed to delivering the best service.”

The 2008 Solaris sunglasses collection was launched late last month.
