Targeted at the young and the young at heart, the new range of Pirelli Pzero ribs is now available in Malta, courtesy of Gasan Enterprises Ltd.

Members of the media got an opportunity to see the potential of a fully-accessorised Pirelli Pzero 770 EFB, one of the top models in the Pirelli Pzero range. Renowned for their stability, safety and ease of handling, these ribs complement the upmarket Capelli leisure craft, also imported by Gasan.

These go-anywhere craft take away the hassle of owning a full-sized yacht, giving flexibility and complete freedom of options to explore interesting locations around the local coastline.

The Pzero range

Pirelli Pzero dinghies are immediately recognisable, from the smallest four-metre model to the flagship 10-metre dinghy. The common factor is their design, an obsessive effort to “remove the unnecessary”. The objective is functionality. Above all, the Pirelli Pzero dinghy aims to amaze with how easy it is to use and how beautifully it drives and rides the waves.

All the boats in the range have been conceived in an organic way: the design is consistent down to the minutest detail. Behind every boat is a concept – a concept that Tecnorib has developed, starting from an initial computer-based design which is then manufactured using the latest industrial technology. The production process drew its inspiration from the car industry.

Nothing, from bow to stern, is the result of an unplanned approach: every aspect, from general layout of spaces to individual details, follows a consistent design path.

So, with the materials used, Pirelli Pzero dinghies are unmistakable. A level of quality that is achieved at the end of a long research and testing process: there is a specific material for every requirement. Even here an attempt has been made to move away from standard plans, moving forward by borrowing ideas and efficient and innovative solutions from other environments.
