Solutions and Infrastructure Services Ltd will be providing centralised heating and air-conditioning services to the Tigné Point Development.

Hot and cold water will be produced at a central location and then distributed around the site to residential, retail and commercial customers who will be living and working in the up-market and unique development that is Tigné Point. Fan coils inside the offices and apartments will then use this hot and cold water to heat or cool the surrounding air to the desired temperature. No refrigerant gas or electric heating is used with this HVAC system, contributing to increased energy efficiency and environmental friendliness.

SIS Ltd will be embarking on this multi-million euro investment because it believes that this solution is an extremely reliable, efficient and safe way to heat or cool a building. This kind of investment is a first for the island, as it will bring the benefits of centralisation to individual residential units.

Centralising production ensures that customers enjoy economies of scale and also benefit from cutting edge technology that would not be financially feasible if installed in individual buildings.
