The general public is being invited to attend a new series of the popular BOV Investor Education Programme. This new edition follows the successful series of seminars organised by Bank of Valletta at the Victoria Hotel in Sliema and Ir-Razzett tal-Hbiberija in Marsascala, which were attended by over 200 persons.

The seminars, that will focus on shares and their markets, commodities, the dynamics of the Maltese welfare state and the Maltese economy, will be held at Villa Arrigo in Naxxar on 28 May and 3 and 11 June. Each of the two-hour sessions will commence at 6.30pm and the proceedings will be conducted in the Maltese language.

The BOV speakers will include David Pace Ross – manager at BOV’s Capital Markets and Institutions Department, John Caruana – head of Investment Consultancy at BOV Wealth Management, and Peter Sant – Senior Economics officer at BOV’s Strategy and Business Development Department.

Geoffrey Bezzina will also deliver a presentation on behalf of the Malta Financial Services Authority. During his presentation, participants will be invited to apply what they have learnt in a practical session.

Participation is free of charge. A certificate of attendance will be awarded to participants who attend all sessions. Those wishing to attend are kindly requested to reserve seating by phoning on 2275-3556, or by sending an email to [email protected].
