The AX Holdings Long Service Awards were recently presented at The Palace Hotel, Sliema when 43 employees received recognition for an aggregate total of 415 years of loyal service with the group. The ceremony was followed by a buffet reception.

In a brief speech during the presentation AX Holdings chairman Angelo Xuereb expressed appreciation to all employees with special emphasis on those who had given service to the Group for over 20 years. He thanked them all for the loyalty to the company and augured them more long years of fruitful employment.

Mr Xuereb presented each with a certificate together with a personalised gift.

This annual event is held in recognition of long service given by employees from the various companies that form the Group, which are, AX Construction, AX Holdings Head Office, Hard Rocks, Sunny Coast Holiday Resorts, The Palace and The Victoria hotels, and the Suncrest Hotel.
