The general public is being invited to attend a new series of the popular BOV Investor Education Programme. This new edition follows the successful series of seminars organised by Bank of Valletta at the Victoria Hotel in Sliema and Ir-Razzett tal-Hbiberija in Marsascala, which were attended by over 200 people.
The seminars, which will focus on shares and their markets, commodities, the dynamics of the Maltese welfare state and the Maltese economy, will be held at Villa Arrigo in Naxxar on Wednesday and 3 and 11 June. Each of the two-hour sessions starts at 6.30pm and will be held in Maltese.
The BOV speakers will include David Pace Ross – Manager at BOV’s Capital Markets and Institutions Department, John Caruana – Head of Investment Consultancy at BOV Wealth Management, and Peter Sant – Senior Economics Officer at BOV’s Strategy and Business Development Department.
Geoffrey Bezzina will also deliver a presentation on behalf of the Malta Financial Services Authority. During his presentation, participants will be invited to apply what they have learnt in a practical session.
Participation is free of charge. A certificate of attendance will be awarded to participants who attend all sessions. Those wishing to attend are kindly requested to reserve seating by calling 2275 3556, or by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
