Bank of Valletta announced a number of senior executive management appointments last week.

Elvia George was appointed Chief Officer Finance and Michael Borg Costanzi was appointed Chief Officer Legal and Compliance. Concurrently, Peter Perotti and Kenneth Farrugia have been upgraded to Chief Officer with responsibility for Valletta Fund Management Ltd. and Valletta Fund Services Ltd respectively.

Together with the other Chief Officers, they will be members of the bank’s executive committee, chaired by the CEO.

Mario Mallia, who up to now occupied the post of Chief Officer Finance, takes on the role of Chief Officer, Risk Management from John Cassar White, who has retired.

Mr Mallia will be responsible for all aspects of Risk Management on a group-wide basis.
