Sessa Marine, one of the leaders in the international pleasure boat markets – from open models to cruisers and yachts, have announced the new flagship open hard top boat C65, which is currently in production, will be launched before the end of the year. The new 65-foot boat is an important development in the market of world-renowned shipyards, taking marine technology and design to new heights.

Over the years, Sessa Marine established itself as a point of reference in terms of design and style even for the international shipyards. Following the success of the C52 and C46, the challenge of the SESSA C65 is the new concept of an open hard top, a first for the yachting market, which will see spaces transformed into verandas and ‘see-through’ rooms, lifting the sensation of closed spaces associated with small- to medium-sized yachts.

Cost-efficiency is another Sessa strength. It has managed to contain manufacturing costs without compromising on quality, placing itself among the most efficient shipyards in Europe. In 2006 alone, Sessa Marine produced some 900 boats within the 20 and 52 feet range.

The C65 is being manufactured with the latest technologies to reflect the highest level of reliability and comfort. The interior design has been entrusted to Dada, part of the Italian Molteni Group who are at the top of the international kitchen market. The C65 project adopts solutions from the domestic kitchen to the galley onboard, with the introduction of new components and materials, like aluminium and glass, for functionality and easy maintenance.

In terms of style and design, the C65 will keep the winning elements of its smaller sisters, the C52 and C46, adding new solutions to create a mix for a new dimension of luxury living. Formality is balanced out with striking colours, lights and materials. The end result is reminiscence of classic looks which are updated for a contemporary feel. Shapes have been made more sensual with the use of velvets, lacquered materials, woods, mirror surfaces, carpets, edges and borders in chrome, to create a concert of visual effects in true authentic Italian style.

The Sessa C65, takes the medium-dimension boat closer to what would normally characterise much larger yachts; the closed shell, light-proof mood has been smoothed out for a lighter feeling of outdoor living which remains safe and protective. The Sessa C65 promises to shape the future for this segment of the boating market.
