Vodafone Malta Limited has announced that as from 1 June, calling from Vodafone Passport Networks is now even cheaper.
Customers registering to Vodafone Passport can call home or the visited country at the rate of e0.23 per minute. Calls to other countries will be charged at the applicable international calling rate. While roaming on EU Passport Networks (e.g. Vodafone Italy), a connection fee of e1 is applicable per call, whereas the connection fee of e1.16 is applicable for non-EU roaming Passport Networks (e.g. Vodafone Australia).
While roaming on EU Vodafone Passport Networks, customers are charged e0.70 per 10 minutes of calls received (e.g. Vodafone Italy). The rate for calls received while roaming on non-EU Passport Networks is e1.16 per 10 minutes of calls.
“Vodafone Passport demonstrates Vodafone Malta’s commitment to ensuring transparency on voice roaming pricing and to giving our customers the freedom to communicate more often and for longer during their business or leisure trips,” said Mr Michael Darmanin, Head of Business at Vodafone Malta.
Vodafone Passport is applicable on selected networks in Belgium, France, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, UK, Libya, Switzerland, Japan, Tunisia, Albania, Australia and New Zealand.
Customers need to manually select the Vodafone or Partner Network when roaming to benefit from Vodafone Passport roaming rates.
