Minimalist lines and a contemporary look characterise the two latest kitchens designs, “Wave” and “Gallery” from Berloni, the work of architect Luciano Grugni. They were first shown at the Milan furniture fair a few weeks ago and will soon be in the Berloni showroom in Valley Road, Birkirkara.
Other features of Wave and Gallery include a refined combination of materials, high functionality and attention to detail in the manufacturing process.
Wave is a blend of natural and modern materials: brushed wood and steel. Plinths, handles, worktops and hoods come in steel, with the rest of the kitchen dominated by the wood whose grain is clearly visible.
There is a choice of four finishes that can also be mixed: coffee oak, grey oak, magnolia and white. These can be set off with titanium finish or wood handles, and a choice of worktops from traffic stone to Corion and laminate.
Glass doors come in a choice of no fewer than 11 finishes. Cupboards can be combined in different heights, widths and depths, so there is no limit to your creativity.
Gallery is characterised by geometric lines and is available in five lacquered colours: white, cream, Bordeaux, orange and cocoa. As with Wave, the laminates are set off with steel and there is a similar choice of handles, work tops, glass doors and dimensions.
