The year 2000 saw the birth of a club, a party concept, which was destined to stay. Now it is set to triple. This is a fusion of ideas, Latino themed, backed by decades of combined leisure and entertainment experience between the directors Mark Grima and Simon Grima.
A concept driven, salsa themed bar which started its first steps in St Julians eight years ago. No other club in Malta is able to boast such success year after year, a consistent unchanged recipe of service and animation. Thousands of locals and tourists have savoured what has today become a landmark in St Julian’s. A few years later Fuego Qawra evolved as a favourite among many and now with pleasure we announce Fuego Ghadira Bay.
In the picturesque bay of Mellieha, just a stone’s throw away from the sea the Fuego adventure is set to start once again. With international DJ’s animating the dance floor and both local and foreign personalities heading towards Fuego Ghadira Bay Mellieha to perpetuate the Fuego success in the northern part of the island.
Fuego Ghadira Bay will be retaining the same standards and concept: free entrance, entrance age over 18 and dress code is smart casual.
Salsa classes will be held on Monday and Tuesday and Latin themed Barbeques every Wednesday evening. We will be starting Sunday afternoon sessions with lavish cocktails, waitressing, and DJ’s.
“My brother and business partner Mark Grima and I have studied the situation in Mellieha and it seems that the tourist industry in that area was lacking entertainment, as far as clubbing is concerned. Fuego will be a plus to hotels and locals alike both in the Mellieha area and to Malta in general”, said Simon Grima.
