RS2 senior management recently attended the EE&CIS Oracle Partner Network Day in Turkey to develop further their close working partnership with Oracle and to deliver a presentation on the integration of Oracle security products within BankWORKS, RS2’s software solution.

Covering all aspects of card management including issuing, acquiring, authorisation and ATM management, Godwin Schembri, Chief Technology Officer of RS2 Software described to the audience how RS2 immediately set out to ensure that through their systems, clients will be able to comply with the latest ‘Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards’. PCI-DSS are a set of guidelines created and maintained by the major card schemes to highlight security weaknesses when processing, storing or transmitting payment card data that may lead to fraud.

RS2 has been committed to Oracle technologies since 2001 when it started to rewrite its older version to the current high performance version. With benchmark results showing processing of over three million transactions in just under an hour, it was clear that Oracle was a good technology choice for RS2.
