The New faces of Gillette champions

At an event held on 3 June at TemptAsian Restaurant at the stylish Palace Hotel in Sliema, Gillette launched to sports journalists, members of the press and guests its latest global campaign – Gillette Champions.

The exclusive event, which was attended by none other than Malta’s international champion Michael Mifsud to the delight of all present, unveiled the Gillette Champions faces – Tiger Woods, Roger Federer and Theirry Henry – three of the most renowned, successful and widely-respected athletes who compete on international levels.

Tiger Woods has won 13 professional major golf championships and 63 PGA Tour events and has been named the PGA Player of the Year a record nine times.

Ranked No. 1 for almost four consecutive years, Roger Federer has dominated men’s professional tennis. The champion holds 12 Grand Slam singles titles including five Wimbledon, four US Open and three Australian Open titles, four Tennis Masters Cup titles and 14 ATP Master Series titles.

Thierry Henry is a World Cup Winner, European Championship Winner, and the greatest goal scorer in the history of Arsenal Football Club.

He has been the team’s top goal scorer every season for seven straight seasons and has been the top goal scorer in the Premier League on four occasions. Currently, Thierry is playing for FC Barcelona.

He is the first player to ever win back-to-back European Golden Boots and the first player to ever win domestic Golden Boots three years in succession.
