Bank of Valletta was among the many international participants in the 37th edition of the Tripoli International Fair.

The Tripoli International Fair is considered to be one of the major events in the Libyan calendar and brings together entities from the industrial, agricultural and commercial sectors from an average of 35 countries worldwide.

Charles Saliba, manager at Bank of Valletta’s representative office in Libya and Joe Esposito, executive head at Bank of Valletta’s Trade Finance Centre in Malta had the opportunity to participate in this event and to have various one to one networking meetings with representatives of companies visiting the fair.

Speaking about this experience Mr Saliba said, “BOV has been doing business in Libya for 30 years and for the past six years has established a permanent presence in this country through its Tripoli representative offices.

The main objective of these fairs is to promote cross border trade and investment between countries, and we are glad to be part of this experience where the BOV Brand can be given exposure within an important international commercial forum.”
