The cause for the sanctification of Blessed Nazju Falzon will be marking the feast day on 1 July, following various activities in different towns. Today and tomorrow the reliquary of the Blessed will be exposed for public veneration at St Joseph parish church, Msida. On Monday and Tuesday it will be at St Lawrence college church in Vittoriosa and on Wednesday and Thursday at St Helen collegiate church in Birkirkara.
On 27, 28 and 29 June the reliquary will be at Mater Dei Hospital chapel. There will be Masses at Ta’ Giezu Franciscan Minors church, where Blessed Nazju is buried, at 7.15, 10 and 11am, and at 6.15pm there will be concelebrated Mass with homily.
There will also be Masses at the Jesuits’ church in Valletta, where Blessed Nazju set up a congregation for servicemen and prepared the baptism of 650 persons, at 6.30, 7.30, 9, 10 and 11am, and at noon.
