Marsascala-based consulting and auditing firm Brian Tonna & Co., the local member of Nexia International, held a themed treasure hunt for its staff.

The aim of the event, which was held in Gozo, was to use intellectually stimulating games for team-building challenges and strengthen team communication skills. It was also intended to provide an environment where people got to know each other better, learnt from each other and achieved the right balance between competition and collaboration – while having a lot of fun in the process.

This treasure hunt moved way beyond the traditional object-gathering method, where contestants are given tricky clues on paper and have to solve the riddles. This time the teams, equipped with cameras and coded instructions, had to produce photographs that proved awkward and strange to take.

The day ended with the presentation of a trophy during a meal at a local restaurant before returning to Cirkewwa.
