Malta Independent Monday, 21 July 2008, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

Italian singer Margary Signorino and her students from the Scuola di Canto, will be giving a performance at the Bay Street Complex rotunda on Wednesday.

Margary Signorino is a singer by profession who has worked with and accompanied some the most popular Italian singers including Luca Barbarossa, Enrico Ruggeri, Franco Califano, Toni Esposito, Marco Masini, Laura Pausini and many more.

Her career in show business has also led her to participate in a number of prime-time shows on the major Italian TV stations. Some of the programmes she participated in are the popular Raffaella Carra’s Carramba Che Sorpresa and Cultura Moderna with comedian Teo Mammuccari. She also won the Disco D’Oro for her participation in the programme Sei un Mito, in which she emulated the eccentric Italian singer, Loredana Berte.

Nine years ago Margary Signorino set up the Scuola di Canto in Rome. This is her fourth consecutive visit to Malta and has many Maltese students with great promise.

The concert starts at 8.30pm and is sponsored by Fluid Diner at level two.
