GO recently pledged its support to Competitive Malta – the foundation for National Competitiveness – during a creative thinking workshop for enhanced national competitiveness chaired by Dr Edward de Bono. Corporate leaders, academics, public officials and Members of Parliament were among those attending the workshop.
The event was supported by AX Group and held at The Palace Hotel in Sliema. Dr de Bono utilised his creative thinking techniques to create a discussion that centred on how Malta could harness its strengths in order to acquire a stronger competitive advantage. He also illustrated how his creative techniques were implemented at a corporate level as well as at a national level in Singapore and Finland.
Meanwhile, GO reiterated its support for the work being done by Competitive Malta by teaming up with Bank of Valletta as the Foundation’s main sponsor. GO CEO David Kay said his company’s support for Competitive Malta is in line with its policy to encourage innovative thinking and research on issues that can make Malta an outstanding location for business.
