As part of its ongoing exercise to keep abreast of developments in broadcasting, Where’s Everybody organised a week long seminar for all its staff. The seminar, called “WE learn”, was conducted by a host of high profile speakers, both local and foreign.

Michael Fenech, a motivational speaker who heads his company Ideas Alive, gave a day-long hands-on session on team building and internal communications. Fr Joe Borg, a media lecturer, ran a very active workshop on “Quality in Production”. Daniel Talma, an expert in audio, spoke about advanced audio techniques together with a host of other speakers on different themes.

Peppi Azzopardi and Mark Vassallo addressed the issues of production, techniques of production and emerging technology. Joe Cremona, Malta’s foremost lighting designer and camerawork specialist, shared his expertise with WE staff. And Pablo Micallef, a WE producer and presenter, spoke about the relationship between broadcasting and the Internet.
