Christopher J. Hayes has been elected an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters, the first Maltese to gain accreditation as a Chartered Loss Adjuster. Having completed the associateship examinations last October, he secured election in July after successfully defending his critical analysis before the Institute’s Accreditation Panel in London.
Christopher moved from insurance underwriting to loss adjusting in 1991 with the Thomas Howell Group in England.
Five years later he joined local loss adjusting firm, Mediterranean Survey Bureau, and went on to establish his own practice in 1998.
He is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
