Bank of Valletta is sponsoring the Royal Malta Golf Club. Through this sponsorship the bank will be the official sponsor of the BOV Monthly Medal Competitions, the BOV Eclectic (Running) Competition and the BOV Malta vs the Rest Wilkinson Sword Trophy, (Malta’s equivalent of the Ryder Cup).

The historical roots of the Royal Malta Golf Club date back 1888 when it was set up, mainly by British servicemen stationed in Malta. In recent years the club has invested greatly in improving the quality of the golf course in order to provide the best quality playing conditions and facilities to its members and numerous international visitors.

The Royal Malta Golf Club has over 750 members, in a variety of categories, playing in excess of 50,000 golf rounds per annum. In addition to this, the course hosts over 6,000 visitors annually.
