Opening a new account at HSBC’s Marsascala branch has meant one treat more than James George Cassar had expected. Mr Cassar, who is in Malta on a long holiday from Australia, won a four-night holiday for two in Rome, including flights and accommodation, as part of an HSBC lottery to celebrate the first anniversary of the branch.

All customers who started a new relationship with HSBC at Marsascala branch between April 2008 and August 2008 automatically took part in the lottery.

Offering all banking services and products and a 24-hour lobby for cash withdrawals, deposits and Internet banking, HSBC’s Marsascala branch was officially opened in April 2007.
