The revolutionary iPhone 3G is now available to all Vodafone customers.

Vodafone is thus offering a number of plan choices which vary according to customers’ needs, with a range of prices starting by which the phone is available for free for the 8GB model and at e85 for the 16GB model.

iPhone 3G combines the innovative features of iPhone with twice as fast 3G networking as the first generation iPhone, with built-in GPS for expanded location based on mobile services and iPhone 2.0 software which includes support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. This phone combines innovative phone characteristics, a wide-screen iPod, and a breakthrough internet device with rich HTML email and web browsing.

Post-paid customers may opt for one of Vodafone’s new iPhone40, iPhone50, iPhone70 and iPhone100 packages to get the iPhone 3G at special prices with competitive tariffs for voice, SMS and data.

Included in the iPhone 3G package price are 600MB data as well as up to 1,000 SMSs.

Pre-paid packages for the iPhone 3G are also available starting from e515 while further discounts shall be offered to companies and professionals signing up to an iSmart plan.

Vodafone is thus giving its customers an opportunity to access all features and benefits of iPhone 3G. The iPhones will be on sale during an open weekend being held at all retail outlets and Vodafone exclusive iPhone resellers which will be open from 9am to 9pm today and from 9am to 1pm on Sunday.
